Private School Funding ("we," "us") operates privateschoolfunding.com, the city and state Edu Funding guide sites we link to, and the Private School Financial Aid Finder app for ChatGPT. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site you may provide your name, email address, phone number, city and state, your child's grade, the type of school you're considering, and anything you write in the message box. School and ministry leaders may also provide a school name and role. Providing this information is voluntary; you can browse the site without submitting any of it.
How we use it and who receives it
- To respond to your request and provide a funding assessment or consulting information.
- To connect you with private schools, scholarship-granting organizations, education-funding programs and consultants who can help with your request. These partners may contact you directly by phone, email or text about your request.
- To improve our guides and understand which programs families are asking about.
We do not sell your information to data brokers or use it for unrelated advertising. We share it only as described above, with service providers who operate the site and send our email on our behalf, or when required by law.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites we receive standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site) and may use privacy-respecting analytics and the UTM parameters on links from our guides and apps to understand how visitors find us. We do not use advertising cookies.
The ChatGPT app
The Private School Financial Aid Finder app runs inside ChatGPT. The app receives only the state and optional details (grade, approximate income range, current school, disability status) that you or ChatGPT send to it in order to look up programs, returns the results, and stores nothing. No account is created and no personal information is retained by the app. Anything you enter after clicking through to this website is covered by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your request and answer questions about it, then delete or anonymize them. Standard server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Partners we refer your request to keep it under their own policies. You can ask us to delete your submission sooner at any time.
Children
This site is intended for parents, guardians and school leaders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, at any time through our contact page. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP and of emails by using the unsubscribe link.
